Local First Grader Named Girls with Heart Ambassador
Kaylee Hebertson, a spunky 7 year old from Forney, is living most tween girls’ dreams. Not only does she have her own YouTube channel and Instagram account (both of which are managed by her mom, Amberly), but she also recently became a Girls with Heart Ambassador for the Justice clothing line.
Justice has a set of values by which girls are encouraged to live. “Live Justice everyday in your own special way: together, connected, active, smart, creatively, & positively.” The company chooses Girls with Heart Ambassadors when they notice a girl living out these “Justice Values”. Though it was no surprise to her mom, dad Zach, or brother Jaxson that she exhibits these qualities, Kaylee was surprised when Justice reached out to her to be one of 75 girls from across the United States to participate in this program.
In April, Kaylee and her mom were flown to Ohio to take part in the Live Justice Summit, the first ever gathering of all of the Girls with Heart Ambassadors and heads of the Justice company. At this three day summit, which carried the theme Be Unstoppable, Justice sought to “inspire, equip, and empower” the Ambassadors as well as connect them to each other. The girls were challenged to find ways to give back to their communities and use their platforms to lead others as good role models.
